ABOUT US

No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society (NTFT) is one of Canada’s leading anti-bullying charities, using story and song to empower communities—including schools, groups, and workplaces—to prevent bullying and reduce its long-term social and mental health impacts.

Founded by award-winning performing artist and keynote speaker Elsie Morden after surviving years of traumatic bullying, NTFT was created to address a clear gap: early intervention that prevents bullying from becoming lasting harm that limits wellbeing, opportunity, and potential.

NTFT is grounded in the belief that bullying is not a rite of passage, but a preventable harm. By proactively addressing bullying in childhood and beyond, the organization works to reduce the long-term mental health, social, and societal consequences that can follow—including anxiety, depression, isolation, barriers to healthy development, and increased vulnerability to further abuse and addiction. This preventative focus supports individual wellbeing while also easing pressure on downstream services.

As a queer and neurodivergent led organization, NTFT brings lived experience to its leadership and programming. The organization recognizes that bullying disproportionately affects people from marginalized communities, and this awareness shapes a prevention-first approach that prioritizes care, representation, and accessibility.

NTFT leads with inclusion, empathy, and care, honouring the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Rather than prescribing solutions, the organization centres lived experience, creativity, and relationship-building to help people feel seen, heard, and understood.

A cornerstone of NTFT’s work is the annual NTFT Tour, which delivers high-impact, arts-based anti-bullying and mental health programming across Canada. Through story and song, trained presenters share personal experiences of adversity alongside practical tools for bullying prevention, conflict resolution, empathy-building, and resilience.

These full-production presentations combine live music, multimedia content, interactive activities, and facilitated discussion, followed by a Q&A and opportunities for deeper engagement. Additional classroom resources are provided for educators and parent council groups. All school programming is offered free of charge, ensuring accessibility regardless of funding or location.

The NTFT Tour also extends beyond schools into workplaces, the music industry, and community settings—spaces where bullying and mental health challenges often go unaddressed. By collaborating with artists and their crews, NTFT helps foster safer, more supportive environments while providing fair compensation and meaningful platforms for artists to share their stories. Representation and positive role models are central to this work, recognizing the impact of seeing lived experience reflected with honesty, integrity, and care. Music serves as both a bridge for connection and a tool for healing within this work.

To date, NTFT has delivered over 750 presentations, reaching more than 175,000 youth and 10,000 educators nationwide. NTFT’s approach recognizes that bullying affects everyone—those who experience it, those who witness it, those who cause harm, and those responsible for care and leadership. By equipping individuals with the tools to engage in informed, compassionate conversations, NTFT supports lasting change and collective wellbeing.
